Once again, it was a great meeting!
Minutes of the Board Meeting will be available on the Ning Forum (members only) soon.
Volunteers are needed to run for Board positions. The guild is as wonderful as it is because we all do a little bit. Many hands make light work and we don’t want to burn out any of our fabulous volunteers.
- President: run meetings, create meeting agendas, make the guild what you want, delegate to and encourage other volunteers .
- Asst. Treasurer: provide backup to Claire
Board members are available to answer questions.
How will you contribute?
Make sure you talk to Amanda about your free tickets.
Volunteers still needed for white glove duty and to sell tickets at PIQF. Check the information on the blog and the Ning and talk to Amanda. Remember that you need to fill your spot if you end up not being able to volunteer.
Next Charity Sew Day will be on November 7 at Peggy’s Community Room. Look for details on the Ning.
Some larger quilts need to be quilted. See Peggy or Michelle.
NO MEETING IN OCTOBER. We will all be at PIQF. If someone wants to organize a get together there, please do so, otherwise stop by the table.
Next meeting will be in November on November 21.
