Community Giving Pickup/Dropoff August

The Community Giving and Pet Beds teams will show up to collect quilts, tops, blocks, and pet beds as well as distribute kits. This happens each month on the Sunday after the BAM meeting.

About the Event

You must RSVP. Let the team know if you need a kit.

Peggy and her team plan on going to Grace Luthern Church every month in 2021, except December, on the Sunday after the general meetings. They will park along the curb in front of the church at 2:00 PM and stay there for one hour.

  • They  will collect completed quilts ready for donation.
  • The team will accept tops only as long as there are members who are willing to take home a kit to quilt at some time.
  • They will bring any kits ready for quilting, the ever popular postage stamp kits and blocks, and 42 inch batting squares.  They will try to bring some fabric, yardage and scraps, for anyone interested in taking some home.  Several bins of fabric for Community Giving usage are available.

If anyone wants larger batting or other supplies request what you need during the Zoom meeting by leaving a note in the chat window.

If there is an upcoming Community Giving day, the team will also have kits and patterns for the designated project. Contact Peggy or the team with questions!
