Community

As a guild, we support a variety of community-based organizations by making quilts and other sewn items. Recipients include neonatal intensive care units of local hospitals, residents of care facilities, fire victims and victims of other natural disasters, and animal shelters.

Preparation for Quilting

Please use the guide to prepare your quilt for longarm quilting.

The following are patterns the guild uses for community quilts. Feel free to make an entire quilt out of any of the patterns below. Check with the Community Quilt Team if you plan to make only one block. These patterns and ideas are for inspiration; whole quilts of any pattern or design are also accepted. Please review the Community Quilt Guides for information about who receives our quilts, what role you can play, recommended best practices, and sizes.
